Privacy & data
fanpage.wiki is a public reference directory of podcasters. Everything you see is either publicly broadcast by the host themselves or volunteered by the host through our claim flow. We collect facts only — no opinions, no scraped conversations, no personal correspondence.
What we collect
- Show metadata published on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and RSS feeds (title, description, episode count, upload cadence, channel art).
- Host name and biographical information as stated on the show's public profiles or website.
- Audience metrics published by the host platforms (subscribers, listens) when available.
- Contact links the host has chosen to publish (website, social handles, business email).
- For claimed pages: any corrections, photos, or contact preferences submitted by the verified owner.
What we do not do
- We do not scrape private contact lists, paid databases, or breach data.
- We do not infer or expose personal home addresses, family details, or financial information.
- We do not sell the underlying database; the public site itself is the product.
- We do not track visitors with third-party advertising cookies.
Legal basis
Within the EU/UK, processing is on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): operating a directory of public-facing podcasters helps audiences discover shows and helps hosts grow theirs. The data is self-published in a professional capacity. We balance this interest against host rights by offering a free, immediate edit/removal pathway and by limiting the fields shown to those a reasonable podcaster would expect to appear in a press kit.
Your rights as a host
You may at any time request correction or removal of the page about your show. Verified hosts can edit most fields directly through the claim flow. If you prefer not to appear at all, use the removal page; we honor those requests within seven days, no questions asked.
Cookies & analytics
We use first-party cookies only for sign-in and a privacy-respecting page-view counter. No cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels.
